I go at it slow… I want to listen first, so share your thoughts with me. Think before I choose, the material that connects with you. Then create, by hand, using mostly old tools. As much as humanly possible I need to feel, hear, smell and even taste the wood. Time is of essence of course. But it’s for free, given to me everyday again. So I spend a lot of it, but I spend it wisely, aware of each moment. And it gives me so much satisfaction. For every change in shape, feel, sound and appearance triggers my senses, increases my skill-level and inspires me. I tend to build only one build at a time. Never use templates or reproduce to make things easier or go faster. Only by putting so much of myself in the proces of creating I find pleasure in creating for others.
